About Us

Our story

Caring, Supportive, Community-Based Aged Care Services

Ashleigh House is a locally managed, community-based, not-for-profit organisation with over 45 years of experience in providing quality aged care services and accommodation to the elderly in our community. Our organisation was founded in the 1970’s by local Philanthropists, the Catholic Church and Sale Rotary Club.

Our facility is home to more than 175 residents, with 88 independent living units and 80 beds in our residential wards, including 20 beds in our specialist dementia/memory support wing.

Our organisation is an incorporated association, governed by a Board of Management made up of committed community volunteers. Daily operations are managed by our CEO and management staff.

Care

The Nurse in-charge and clinical staff are available 24/7. Should yourself, or any family members wish to speak to our staff, you can do so by visiting the nurses’ office, or by contacting the facility directly at (03) 5144 4484 or admin@ashleighhouse.com.au.

We prioritise personalised care, ensuring each individual’s needs and preferences are met with kindness and attention. From friendly greetings to attentive service, our goal is to make every day comfortable and enjoyable, fostering a sense of community and belonging for all our residents.

Why Choose Us

Accommodation

We understand that different people have different needs. That’s why the Ashleigh House offers two types of accommodation – self-care and full care. This combination supports our residents to live ‘life to the fullest’ in a way that works in the way that works for them.

The Ashleigh House Residential Facility houses residents who are seeking a higher level of daily support.

The Eastwood Park and Northwood Park Independent Living Units allow our residents to maintain their independence whilst living in a supportive community with neighbours of a similar age.
